Work Experience IKEA again

I have actually worked twice at IKEA, with different things and in different stages of my life.

During the last year of high school and the first year after high school I worked at the IKEA store where I lived. I started at the cash register, and continued on the floor as a sales clerk. This was from August 2000 until august 2002.

I had various tasks including customer service, price markings, helping with retail planning and controling the flow of goods to name a few. I also started the "store newspaper" for that store during my time there.

This job gave me a first insight into the retailing business and customer interaction. It was fairly routine but it let me evolve and try different things. If I had an idea, my boss was not going to stop med from doing it. It taught me, amongst other things, patience and understanding.
