Student Union Helsingkrona Nation

Since I started studying, I have been working at Helsingkrona Nation doing different things. Here is a description of what my different positions entailed.

I started out as being the head of PR for the nation. This meant doing a lot of marketing, posters and flyers, but also other forms, in order to get people to come to our events and night clubs.

After doing that for one year, I became responsible for yearly grand bal with 300 guests. It is a "penguin-suite" three course dinner with entertainment, speeches and a lot of well dressed, good looking guests. It was a real challenge putting everything together. I was responsible for everything, the food, the decorations, even the flowers. It turned out to be a very successful evening and all the guests were pleased.

Afte a year of that I became "Barmeizter". I was responsible for keeping inventory, keeping stock and distributing drinks for the whole nation for a year. This was a very important post since a lot of the nations business is providing a night club for students every friday, plus a pub and restaurant and other things too. I was responsible for making sure there were enough drinks (both alcoholic and none alcoholic) for everyone.

After doing that for a year, and until present, I am a member of the board of the nation. This is very interesting since it gives me more economic insight and a more serious perspective to what the nation does and I have something to say about it.
